Declaring Freedom: ASCH's Spring Convocation

On March 16th, 2024, John Mills will be presenting a lecture for The Association for the Study of Connecticut History (ASCH). This is an in-person event in-person event at Central Connecticut State University. This will be the fourth day in the Declaring Freedom series.

The intent of this full-day meeting is to explore the role Connecticut’s museums, historical societies, organizations and individuals can play in 2026 during the Semiquincentennial of the United States. This collaborative day of sharing includes continental breakfast, lunch, speakers and breakout sessions moderated by members of the Association for the Study of Connecticut History (ASCH). Speakers will include individuals from around the State.

This is the first of at least three statewide planning sessions brought to you by ASCH. This first session is being provided at no cost. Each registrant will also be given a free one-year membership in ASCH which includes two copies of their Connecticut History Review, a peer-reviewed journal of our State’s history.
